AAC Founders Fund and Recognition

To commemorate the 25th anniversary of the Adventure Amputee Camp (originally Amputees Coming Together, first camp 1995), Missy and Bob have created the AAC Founders Fund and Recognition. The fund guarantees a donation of up to $500/year (by Dec 30, with evidence that the AAC is financially sound) when matched by donations to the MWB-BB AAC Founders Fund in the same year. Funds collected are used for AAC operating expenses.

Each year, in addition to supporting camp, the Founder’s Fund will recognize an AAC volunteer(s) who has contributed, over time, and in extraordinary ways, financially and/or personally to AAC. The recipient(s) is selected by Missy and Bob based on personal knowledge, and nomination from past and current AAC Board members, volunteers, and campers. Nominations are due by April 30, via email. The recipient(s) will be announced/recognized each year at the conclusion of the summer camp. The recipient(s) does not receive any financial benefit from this recognition.
